Professional sumo wrestler Hakuho Davaajargal sets Guinness Record. Sumo grand champion Hakuho Davaajargal was registered in Guinness World Records. The 69th yokozuna of professional sumo broke his own records in two nominations. The following achievements of Hakuho Davaajargal was listed in the “Martial Arts” section of the “Guinness World Records 2018”. It is the new edition officially confirming achievements of 2016. Two of his achievements including “Most undefeated top-division sumo championship wins” and “Most sumo top division wins” were recorded. “Most undefeated top-division sumo championship wins” goes to the act of winning a tournament and not losing a single bout is called zensho yusho in sumo. Between 2007 and 2016 Hakuho Munkhbatyn Davaajargal set new record by winning 12 times without losing, four more than records set by Futabayama Sadaji and Taihō Kōki. Yokozuna Hakuho made zensho yusho by winning 12th time in May, 2016. The other achievement is the “Most sumo top division wins”. Professional sumo has a top division of 42 wrestlers known as makuuchi. Mongolian wrestler of sumo Hakuho Sho won 903 bouts between 2007 and 2017 in this division, the most by any rikishi. He broke his previous record of 879 wins at the 2016 Summer Grand Sumo Tournament held in Tokyo, Japan.
