Mongolian archaeologists reviewed their findings and achievements of 2017 at an annual conference titled ‘Mongolian Archaeology’.

Mongolian archaeologists reviewed their findings and achievements of 2017 at an annual conference titled ‘Mongolian Archaeology’. More than sixty presentations on archaeological research and excavation works conducted by about 200 archaeologists were delivered during the conference. In 2017, more than forty expeditions were undertaken in cooperation with national and international educational institutions, museums and researchers worked in the territories of 71 sub-provinces of all the 21 provinces in Mongolia. The annual academic conference was co-organized by The Institute of History and Archaeology of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences in cooperation with the National University of Mongolia. The conference has been organized since 2011.
