Mongolian doctor awarded with medal of World Intellectual Property Organization
Professor and Ph.D. Lochin of the State Central Third Hospital of Mongolia has been awarded the medal for innovators by the World Intellectual Property Organization.
Professor and Ph.D. Lochin of the State Central Third Hospital of Mongolia has been awarded the medal for innovators by the World Intellectual Property Organization in recognition of his contribution to the health sector of Mongolia. The WIPO Medal for Inventors is offered by national and international organizations to outstanding inventors. Particular attention is given to those who have made inventions which are considered to be significant contributions to the economic and technological development of their countries. Candidates for the WIPO Medal for Inventors must have obtained or applied for a patent or utility model for their innovation. Professor and Ph.D. Ts.Lochin has created and renovated over 20 equipment for general and laparoscopy surgery. For instance, he created laparoscopic trocar incision closure device, instruments for gallstones and gallbladder removal surgeries. Over 20 Mongolian inventors, researchers and scientists have been awarded the medal so far and it is the proof that the World is acknowledging Mongolian’s intellectual potential.
