Ethical Traveler, a non-profit organization based in Berkeley, California, has included Mongolia in its annual list of the world’s 10 best ethical travel destinations. Mongolia has been included in the list for the third year in a row. Each year, Ethical Traveler surveys the world’s developing nations and focuses on environmental protection, social welfare, human rights, and animal welfare to determine which travel destinations are conducting the most ethical practices in these areas. The other destinations listed for 2018 are Belize, Benin, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Palau, St. Kitts and Nevis, Uruguay, and Vanuatu.
