Mongolia’s parliamentary participation in Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum noted
Mongolia’s Parliament Speaker M.Enkhbold delivered a speech at the meeting of the 26th annual meeting of Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF) Executive committee in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Mongolia’s parliamentary participation in Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum noted. Mongolia’s Parliament Speaker M.Enkhbold delivered a speech at the meeting of the 26th annual meeting of Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF) Executive committee in Hanoi, Vietnam. In his speech, M. Enkhbold emphasized that Mongolia would take part constantly in APPF activities and make efforts to implement its resolutions. Prior to the opening of the 26th APPF meeting, a meeting of female parliamentarians was held, at which Mongolia’s MP B.Undarmaa attended. The meeting touched upon issues to seek ways to promote gender equality and empowerment of women and girls for sustainable development shared prosperity in the region. More than 350 representatives of member states are holding discussions under the general topic ‘Parliamentary partnership: Peace, reform and sustainable development’, including a wide range of issues politics, security, regional trade and economic cooperation, sustainable development, inclusive growth and gender equality.
