Mongolian prime minister to visit South Korea next week. Mongolian Prime Minister Ukhnaa Khurelsukh will visit South Korea next week for talks with Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon about ways to enhance the substantial cooperation between the two countries. During his visit, he also plans to attend a forum of business leaders from the two countries and a meeting with Mongolian residents in South Korea. Currently, more than 40 000 Mongolians are working in Korea, and this high number is due to the current Mongolian economic situation. Relations between Mongolia and South Korea have steadily progressed since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1990. The visit is the first overseas trip by Prime Minister Khurelsukh since he took office in October 2017.
