Mongolian judo team won second place at ‘Tokyo Grand Slam-2017’ held in Tokyo, Japan.
Mongolian judo team won second place at ‘Tokyo Grand Slam-2017’ held in Tokyo, Japan. 417 judokas from 61 countries attended the competition organized by International Judo Federation (IJF). The Mongolian team consisted of 16 judokas won the second place with their achievement of one gold, two silver and one bronze medals. Japanese team led the others with its success of 12 gold, seven silver and 13 bronze medals followed by Korean team with one gold, one silver and four bronze medals. Judoka O.Uuganbaatar became the Champion of Tokyo Grand Slam in men’s 81kg. World Champion M.Urantsetseg, the first gold medalist of Tokyo Grand Slam from Mongolian judokas and judoka B.Amartuvshin grabbed silver medals and judoka N.Dagvasuren bronze medal at the competition.
