Mongolia and Japan discuss various cooperation matters. Deputy Prime Minister U. Enkhtuvshin met Masato Takaoka, Ambassador of Japan to Mongolia. Deputy Prime Minister thanked for Japanese decision to grant a financial support worth of USD850 million in the framework of IMF’s Extended Fund Facility. Japanese Ambassador requested Deputy Prime Minister to pay attention to the timely completion of the ongoing construction of new Ulaanbaatar International Airport in Khushig Valley and to intensify a process of management-related negotiation. Deputy PM noted that the Government plans to discuss this issue and adopt a certain resolution in the near future. Moreover, the Deputy PM appreciated the Ambassador for co-implementing many projects and programs on preventing and alleviating disaster risks. At the meeting, they also shared views on bilateral relations and cooperation in security, foreign policy, economy, health and educational sectors.
