G.Ariunbaatar performed ‘Mongol Classic 3’ concert
State Honored Artist and ‘Chinggis Khaan’ Order Laureate organized his third “Mongol Classic” concert in Ulaanbaatar.
State Honored Artist and ‘Chinggis Khaan’ Order Laureate (the highest prize of Mongolia) organized his third “Mongol Classic” concert in Ulaanbaatar. “Mongol Classic 3” concert consisted of two parts with the first part performing the works of Mongolian honored composers and the second part with the famous world classic opera songs. Currently employed as a soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre of Russia G. Ariunbaatar has been named as one of the World’s Top 5 singers and he has won numerous international competitions and special prizes such as the prize as best baritone and the special Pavel Lisitsian Prize in the 24th Glinka International Vocal Contest in 2011, Mongolia’s Finest Singer award in 2012; the first prize in the 3rd Muslim Magomaev International Vocalists Competition in 2014; the first prize in the male vocalist and Grand Prix in the 15th International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2015 as well as the Song Prize of BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2017. He has performed at the most prestigious theatres including Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, the Cadogan Hall and Buckingham Palace in London and at the Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg. BBC UK is reportedly creating a documentary about the singer.
