Mongolia signs agreement with EU on opening delegation
Minister of Foreign Affairs and EU Ambassador to Mongolia signed an Agreement on Establishment and Privileges and Immunities of Delegation of European Union to Mongolia.
Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar and the EU Ambassador to Mongolia Hans Dietmar Schweisgut signed an Agreement on the Establishment and Privileges and Immunities of the Delegation of the European Union to Mongolia between the Government of Mongolia and the EU and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC) in the State House. The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his appreciation towards the role and contribution of the EU and its member states in nurturing and sustaining democracy and human rights values in Mongolia. The Minister informed that he proposed to cooperate with the EU actively in areas such as the promotion of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) during his meeting with the EU Ambassadors prior to the signing ceremony. Mongolian-EU relations are entering a new phase with the Framework Agreement on Partnership and Cooperation that was entered into force on November 1, 2017.
