Cheerleading team of Mongolia becomes Asian champion

Mongolian team won gold medal in team cheer hip-hop category and silver medal in team cheer freestyle Pom category.

The Mongolian cheerleading team comprised of 20 young contestants competed for the first time in the Asian Cheerleading Championships 2017 that gathered some 40 teams from eight countries. The Mongolian team won a gold medal in the team cheer hip-hop category and a silver medal in the team cheer freestyle Pom category. ‘Galt Shuvuu’ or ‘Phoenix’ dance crew established the Mongolian Cheerleading Dance Federation to develop cheerleading in Mongolia and entered as the 100th official member of the International Federation of Cheerleading.
