PM U.Khurelsukh meets Ambassador of China to increase bilateral trade

Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh expressed Mongolia’s concerns about the decreasing amount of export through the Gashuunsukhait-Gants Mod border checkpoints. The Prime Minister brought up the issue during his meeting with Xing Haiming, Ambassador of China to Mongolia to help achieve the objective to increase bilateral trade turnover to USD 10 billion by 2020. Prime Minister appreciated the steady development of bilateral relationship in cultural, educational, scientific and humanitarian fields. “The growing student exchange is playing an important role in strengthening friendly people-to-people relations between our countries,” he noted. Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh also thanked the Ambassador for relaying a congratulatory letter from Li Keqiang, Premier of China. Ambassador Xing Haiming expressed his gratitude for being the first Ambassador to meet the Prime Minister since his appointment. “Bilateral strategic partnership between our two countries is strengthening. I am confident in the continuity of the policy of the Mongolian Government,” he said. The Ambassador said that he will look into the above mentioned matter regarding export.
