An international master of sports G.Anujin won gold medal in a World Cup tournament for weightlifting named after Vajiralongkorn, King of Thailand. She competed in the women's -63 kg contest, and claimed the medal after lifting 87 kg in snatch and 108 kg in clean and jerk. Mongolia was represented at the tournament by two weightlifters headed by Ts.Batzaya, coach of the Mongolian national team at the Mongolian Weightlifting Federation. This is the first medal of Mongolia to win in the Thailand's World Cup Tournament.
