Harvard medical school’s T2T program commences in Mongolia. The Training to Teacher (T2T) program by the Harvard Medical School launched at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS). More than 100 attendees, including the faculty members of the MNUMS and private universities and health organizations are attending the one-year training. The T2T Program aims to instruct established Mongolian doctors in modern teaching techniques emphasized at Harvard Medical School, and strengthen faculty members of medical universities or institutions and healthcare workers, investigators, and physicians related to graduate training in the medical field. The medical educational techniques include learner-centered teaching, small group teaching, systematic approaches to curriculum design and assessment, and team-based learning. Half of the training fee is financed by the Asian Development Bank in scope of the Higher Education Reform Project.
