Mongolian peacekeepers arrive home
Mongolian Armed Forces return home after completing duties in UNMISS
The Sixth Moto-Shooting Battalion of Mongolian Armed Forces returned home after completing successfully their duties in United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS). Under the Presidential decree, the peacekeepers are awarded orders of military honor and Medals for Peace. The United Nations Mission in the Republic of Sudan is one of the four places where Mongolia deploys its soldiers and peacekeepers. Since 2002, Mongolia has been sending peacekeepers to some dozen destinations and so far, sent some 12000 peacekeepers.
