The city branding refers to all activities that are undergone with the purpose of turning a City from a location into a destination. The city branding creates a single brand for the city and extends it to all its offerings and interactions. The purpose of the Ulaanbaatar city branding is to create a spectacular image of Ulaanbaatar city that expresses the city, using a logo in all activities organized by the city administration and placing logo on printed materials and souvenirs. Name of the Ulaanbaatar city is written in calligraphy in the logo and map of Ulaanbaatar is represented in simplified shape on the background of the logo. The city administration hopes that the new city branding will create a positive feeling about Ulaanbaatar to everyone.
