Danish manufacturer supplies turbines to wind farm in Mongolia. The Danish manufacturer Vestas will deliver and supervise installation of 25 V110 2.0MW machines optimized to 2.2MW. Delivery and commissioning of the 55MW Sainshand wind farm project, which is located in Dornogobi province, is expected to launch in the first half of 2018. The deal also includes a 15-year active output management 4000 service contract and VestasOnline business SCADA. Vestas Asia Pacific president Clive Turton said: “Mongolia has begun the journey away from an energy mix dominated by thermal power and with its strong wind resources, the market is growing fast and becoming very competitive. “As Mongolia's largest wind park, Sainshand is therefore a testament to the strength of our wind energy solutions and our capabilities during the development phase.”
