Mongolian judokas claimed silver and bronze medals on the first day of the 2017 World Judo Championships started on Monday in Budapest, Hungary. Three Mongolians competed on the first day in men’s -60 kg and women’s -48 kg divisions. Among them, M.Urantsetseg won a silver medal in the women’s below 48 kg contest. -48 kg silver medal is Urantsetseg’s third medal of the World Championships. She collected gold and silver medals in 2014 and 2015, respectively, in the same category. G.Boldbaatar, a 2014 World champion, captured a bronze medal in the men’s lightest weight category.
