A 12th-grade student of the “Shine Mongol” high-school B.Khangai took the 1st place in an essay writing contest in the Japanese language.
Mongolian pupil wins essay writing contest by Japanese parliament. A 12th-grade student of the “Shine Mongol” high-school B.Khangai took the 1st place in an essay writing contest in the Japanese language. The contest was carried out by the House of Councillors (Upper House) of Japanese parliament dedicated to the 70th the National Diet (parliament). It was attended by 1,874 pupils who wrote their essays with 4,000 calligraphies and letters. The Mongolian student visited Japan at the invitation of Mr. Date Chuichi, the Speaker of the House of Councillors to bring his prize. B.Khangai is one the foremost students in his school and he won a calligraphy festival last year organized by the Mongolia-Japan center, securing the perfect score. Moreover, he took the 1st place in the highest division (N1-N2) of Japanese Olympiad organized within the 45th anniversary of the Mongolia-Japan diplomatic relations.
