More Mongolians are to study in Russia. Approximately 450 Mongolians will study in Russian universities and institutes with the governmental scholarships in the academic years of 2017-2018. Russia is aiming to augment this number to 500 noted Mr. I.K.Azizov, Ambassador Extraordinary, and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Mongolia during his meeting with G.Chuluunbaatar, Minister of Education, Culture, and Science. Furthermore, 11 Mongolian ballet dancers will graduate from the Perm’s Choreography School in spring of the next year and they are expected to enroll into the Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, contributing to classical arts in Mongolia. Mongolia-Russia relations have been developing for over a century; and Mongolia intends to expand the cooperation with Russia in the fields of culture, education, sport and science and accordingly to co-organize several measures in collaboration with Russia.
