Mongolia and China agree to promote “tea road tourism”. The Tea Road, a joint project of Mongolia, China and Russia for promoting tourism, has been chosen as a priority project to be implemented in frames of the three countries’ cooperation under the Agreement on Establishing Economic Corridor. An event to promote the Tea Road Project was held in Mongolia’s capital Ulaanbaatar with about 400 delegates from China. The sides exchanged ideas on enhancing tourism along Tea Road through promoting the Tea Road tourism brand. In the ancient times, the Tea Road used to be another trade route to connect the three neighbouring nations. At the present time, it passes through 10 cities of Mongolia, Russia and China.
