Visiting Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan Tadamori Oshima told journalists that freedom and democratic values bring Japan and Mongolia together. Mongolia and Japan develop the bilateral strategic partnership in a wider scope including in political, economic, foreign relations, cultural and sports spheres, told Mr. Speaker. Speaker Oshima briefed the Mongolian press on the agenda of his meetings with the President, Parliament Speaker and Prime Minister, informing that he will convey the issues the Mongolian side put forward such as the construction of a carbon chemical complex, management of the new airport in Khushig Valley and construction of a railroad. He then emphasized that it was his responsibility to develop the bilateral parliamentary partnership, and wished the best of success to Mongolian athletes to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Japanese Speaker’s visit is highlighted as the first high-level visit of the Japanese legislative organization to Mongolia, in the frame of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Japan.
