Mongolia threatens with wildfires burning. There are 22 wildfires burning in Mongolia and 4-5 of them are in an inaccessible area. Emergency servants and volunteers are working in wildfire sites to cease the fire; however, the extreme dry condition in nation’s territory does not allow the Mongolian emergency team to extinguish the fires easily. Accordingly, the Municipality of Ulaanbaatar has issued a direction on banning camping trips and picnics in green zones of Ulaanbaatar due to high risk of forest fires. In accordance, picnics, hiking trips, entry of motor vehicles and other services in the green zones of the city are banned for an unknown period until the level of dryness comes down. Moreover, many organisations, entrepreneurs and residents are united together to establish a fundraising campaign to help the emergency team overcome the wildfire danger.
