State Honored Athlete G.Usukhbayar becomes the second Mongolian to attempt conquering the legendary mountain which is elevated at 8611 meters above sea level, and has the second-highest fatality rate among the eight-thou sanders. The first Mongolian Seven Summiteer, State Honored Athlete B.Gangaamaa climbed the mountain in 2013, but stopped the climb due to natural obstacles. G.Usukhbayar became the first Mongolian to conquer Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world, by summitting in 2005. Earlier this year, he conquered Mount Aconcagua (6962m), the highest peak of South America.
