Six children with congenital heart defect to be treated in Korea. Six Mongolian children with congenital heart defects will undergo a cardiac surgery in the Republic of Korea in June free of charge. Korea's Salvation Army International will cover all surgical treatment cost. Mongolia’s Minister of Health A. Tsogtsetseg held a meeting with the children who are soon to depart for South Korea for treatment and representatives from the Ulaanbaatar Office of the Salvation Army International. Health Minister expressed her gratitude to the Salvation Army International for their kindest contribution to the action to protect the health of Mongolian children. Minister exchanged views with the Salvation Army International delegates about further cooperation to enhance possibilities to perform cardiothoracic surgery in Mongolia in future. Moreover, the Minister handed over gifts to the children with congenital heart disease and wished them successful treatment and quick recovery. Representative of the Salvation Army International in Ulaanbaatar has financed surgical treatment of 67 Mongolian children with congenital heart defects.
