Mongolian folk band took part in oriental festival
Ethnic band ‘Khukh Mongol’ or ‘Blue Mongol’ represented Mongolia at the 2017 Oriental Festival with their folk performance combined with contortion and folk dance and Mongolian ger stand.

Ethnic band ‘Khukh Mongol’ or ‘Blue Mongol’ represented Mongolia at the 2017 Oriental Festival (Festival dell’ Oriente) with their folk performance combined with contortion and folk dance and Mongolian ger stand. The Oriental Festival took place in Rome, featuring photography exhibition, bazaar, commercial stand, traditional events and folklore, natural medicine, concerts, dance and martial arts. The ‘Blue Mongol’ folk band introduced Mongolian culture to the festival-goers and served some Mongolian traditional meals including famous meat dumplings buuz. The ‘Blue Mongol’ group was formed 20 years ago in Germany, and is now based in Bavaria.
