Power Engineering School of Mongolian University of Science and Technology opened laboratory
The renovated laboratory was funded by the Setsuyo Astec Corporation, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric.
Power Engineering School of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology opened its renovated laboratory, funded by the Setsuyo Astec Corporation, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric. The Laboratory is equipped with 15 programmable logic controller of “FX3G-40MT/ES-A” type and two drive equipment of “Melservo JN A” type, which cost JPY750 thousand. The new laboratory will allow students to practice latest technology, besides learning theories, said Director of the Energy School. It is the second renovation of the laboratory since its establishment in 1995 and a renovation in 2002. Graduates of the Power Engineering School with a profession of electric system automation and factory automation, work in the biggest companies, which use modern high technologies, including Erdenet Mining Corporation, Darkhan Metallurgy Plant, Oyu Tolgoi, Coco Cola and Vitafit.
