Mongolian basketball team has become champion of Asian University 3x3 Basketball Championships
The Mongolian team won the gold medal after beating China by 17:13 in the final match.
A Mongolian basketball team has become the champion of the Asian University 3x3 Basketball Championships, which was held in Malaysia past Sunday. The Mongolian team won the gold medal after beating China by 17:13 in the final match. 11 Asian basketball teams participated in the championship which took place in Kuala Lumpur. Mongolia has now secured the right to participated in the World Youth Basketball Championship in September. Previously, the Mongolian team won the silver medal at the Asian University 3x3 Basketball Championships after being defeated by China.
