Mutual visa facility discussed. Mongolian Foreign Affairs Minister and South Korean Ambassador discussed a South Korean visa facility for Mongolian applicants. After South Korea launched a new border inspection system, visa requirements changed for Mongolians who were previously eligible to enter the Republic of Korea visa-free. It has been agreed that when holders of regular Mongolian and South Korean passports have visited Mongolia and South Korea four times or more within two years, or after they have visited at least ten times, they should be eligible to apply for a 30-day multiple entry visa that remains valid for five years. The sides also agreed to review the terms of multiple entry visas, and to research carrying out a mutual visa facility.
