Young Mongolian player triumphs at international chess tournament in Hungary. Mongolian young chess player of “Monchess” club Kh.Itgelt triumphed over 140 players of more than 40 countries at Budapest Spring Festival 2017. 11-year-old National Master of Mongolia won 126 rating points against players who are at least 30 years his senior in average. The Budapest Spring Festival is one of the biggest cultural events in Europe. The tournament took place in 3 groups of different set of skills with a prize HUF 1 million for group A, HUF 100 thousand for group B and special prizes for group C.
