Mongolian ethnic ballad group Khusugtun toured Europe. Khusugtun toured the USA and Canada with the aspiration to promote Mongolian traditional folk music to the world. Khusugtun performed at the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada International Convention, Trade Show and Investors' Exchange held in Toronto, as well as in Rubin Museum of Art, where some unique paintings and sculptures of Buddhism, especially precious paintings of High Saint Zanabazar are kept. Khusugtun ethnic ballad group toured 11 cities of the US and Canada including Vancouver, Ottawa, Toronto, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles. In addition to the Mongolian traditional instruments, the group incorporates the breath taking Khöömei or throat-singing, an ancestral art registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Khusugtun have created original pieces that feature the remarkable sound of throat-singing in A Capella arrangement, while incorporating elements of classical music.In 2011, they performed at the Royal Albert Hall, London, UK for the BBC Proms Human Planet concert. In 2015, they won second place at the Asia’s Got Talent show, organized in Malaysia and Singapore.
