Mongolia-Turkey cooperation in transportation discussed

Mongolia-Turkey cooperation in transportation is discussed. Minister of Road and Transport Development Mr. D.Ganbat received Turkish Ambassador Ahmet Yazal and exchanged views on the bilateral cooperation in the transport sector. Mr. Minister said that partnership in the transport sector plays main role in the bilateral economic collaboration between the two countries, and mentioned that the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) has been cooperating with Mongolia since 1994. Mr. Ambassador Ahmet Yazal expressed his willingness to actively cooperate in the development of road and transport. Historical relations between Mongolia and Turkey have been further intensified. Mongolia and Turkey still maintain a great relationship in the politic and social areas. There is the need to intensify the bilateral trade and economic ties with a view to increase the number of tourists to travel from Turkey to Mongolia, noted the Turkish Ambassador. He continued that Turkey is ready to cooperate in an area of investment and will help Mongolia to promote development projects and programs to be carried-out by the Ministry of Road and Transport.
