Mongolian professional boxer Tugstsogt Nyambayar is ranked at number 27 in world boxing ranking, after gaining his eighth victory at Premier Boxing Champions.

Mongolian professional boxer Tugstsogt Nyambayar is ranked at number 27 in world boxing ranking, after gaining his eighth victory at Premier Boxing Champions. On February 26, Tugstsogt, nicknamed “King Tug”, won against Jhon Gemino of the Philippines, 23, at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. “Tugstsogt Nyambayar remained undefeated by dropping his opponent four times en route to earning a 10th-round TKO” wrote on the website of Premier Boxing Champions. He won a silver medal in the 49-51 kg at the 2009 World Amateur Boxing Championships held in Milan. At the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships, he lost his third bout to Elvin Mamishzade Azerbaijani boxer. He qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London in the Flyweight division and won the Olympics silver medal.
