Mongolian memory athletes set four new world records. They gained 41 medals from Korea Open Memory championship. 19 memory athletes of the Mongolian Intellectual Academy secured 14 gold, 15 silver and 12 bronze medals from the Korea Open Memory Championship which was held in Seoul. The world new records were broken in the “Image” junior age category, in the “Image” category of teenage age, in the “Card” 10-minute category and in the “Spoken numbers” category. The championship with KRW 30 million prize funds was taken part by 178 memory athletes from 15 countries including South Korea, Mongolia, Germany, the USA, the Philippines and Japan competing for 90 set of medals of 10 categories in different age classifications.
