Mongolia-Russia-China Economic Corridor plan discussed
Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ts.Munkh-Orgil met with Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia A.V.Gruzdev and discussed some bilateral trade and economic, investment and financial issues as well as some matters concerning regional and international cooperation.
Mongolia-Russia-China Economic Corridor plan is discussed. Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ts.Munkh-Orgil met with Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia A.V.Gruzdev and discussed some bilateral trade and economic, investment and financial issues as well as some matters concerning regional and international cooperation. During the meeting, the dignitaries agreed to investigate the possibilities to form a council in Ulaanbaatar to activate the implementation of the tripartite plan to establish a Mongolia-Russia-China Economic Corridor. Furthermore, the sides reaffirmed the mutual interests to increase the bilateral trade turnover and investment, and balance trade deficit, eliminate tariff and non-tariff barriers, attract more Russian investment to infrastructure and energy sectors of Mongolia. The sides agreed to improve the development of favorable legal environment and promotion of regional cooperation, in particular, the cross-border cooperation between Mongolia and Russia.
