Mongolia received 85 scores as revealed by US based NGO Freedom House annual report on global political rights and civil liberties. With aggregate score 85, Mongolia ranks after Japan (96) and Taiwan (91) in Asia. However, it is notable that Mongolia’s Freedom of the Press 2016 status is Partly Free.
