Mongolian lecturer at University of California becomes Culture Envoy of Mongolia
Dr. Ts.Uranchimeg, art critic and lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley is named a Mongolian Culture Envoy.
Mongolian lecturer at University of California becomes a Culture Envoy of Mongolia. Dr. Ts.Uranchimeg, art critic and lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley is named a Mongolian Culture Envoy. Dr. Urantsetseg will be responsible for enhancing Mongolia's image abroad and developing Mongol studies as well as cooperating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia in order to boost cultural cooperation with other countries. Dr. Ts.Uranchimeg studied at the Mongolian Fine Art Institute and the Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture and earned a doctorate degree from the UC Berkeley in 2009, where she has been teaching since then. She has played an important role in the revival of the activities of the Center of Mongolian Studies of the CSU for her active participation in the development of Mongol studies and an establishment of "Mongolia Initiative" program at the Institute of East Asian Studies at UC Berkeley.
