On the sidelines of the 23rd Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council, Mongolian Foreign Minister met his Hungarian counterpart and proposed increasing the quota of Hungarian government scholarships for Mongolian students and training agricultural professionals for additional quota. The Minister exposed his government’s interest in involving Hungarian companies in technological modernization and construction of a sewage treatment facility in the capital city. Mongolian Foreign Minister met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation and the dignitaries agreed on formalizing an intergovernmental visa waiver agreement for diplomatic passport holders. Mongolia and Poland agreed to restore a regular mechanism for economic cooperation, to attach more importance to projects with export loans from Poland, and to support activities of the Department of Mongolian studies at Warsaw University. Also, Mongolia’s FM and his Austrian counterpart considered resolving the social insurance issues of Mongolian nationals, who are returning home after studying and working in Austria and Poland.
