South Korean visa matters for Mongolians discussed. State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Davaasuren received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia Oh Song to discuss a South Korean visa issues for Mongolian applicants. State Secretary D.Davaasuren presented Ambassador Oh with an official letter outlining the facilitation of eased visa requirements between the two countries, mutual visa exemption, and issuing multiple-entry visas to the heads and officials of Mongolian enterprises paying taxes of over 500 million MNT per year. The sides agreed to organize a consultative meeting in the first half of the next year. “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working to expand consular relations, protect the legal rights of Mongolians living abroad, and to provide them with fast and accessible consular services,” State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated. He also noted that the proposal to facilitate issuing multiple-entry visas to Mongolian entrepreneurs was the Mongolian state’s attempt to support domestic businesses in their relations, cooperation, and international trade.
