Mongolia to reduce air pollution
Under the framework of the Mongolian Sustainable Financing Principle, over 800billion togrog have been provided in grants to local companies in 2016.
Mongolia spends about 500 billion togrog to reduce air pollution. Under the framework of the Mongolian Sustainable Financing Principle, over 800billion togrog have been provided in grants to local companies in 2016. Over 500 billion togrog of the funds was granted to the projects that aim to reduce air pollution of Mongolia. Mongolia is ranked among the most polluted city in the world. The other parts of the funds were allocated to the water conservation projects, renewable energy projects, energy efficiency projects and other green projects. Meanwhile, Mongolian Bankers Association is expected to establish a Green Loan Fund according to the international standards.
