Japan's Miyakonojo seeks cooperation with Ulaanbaatar in beef trading. Vice mayor of Mongolia’s capital city Jantsan Batbayasgalan received a delegation of the agricultural division of Japanese Miyakonojo city which is well-known for its broad range of beef products. During the meeting, the Japanese side recalled that canned beef and other products from Japan have been advertised in Ulaanbaatar since the beginning of the past year. Beef products from Miyakonojo are recognized in many other countries, and make up one fifth of the total meat consumption of Japan. Miyakonojo is interested to supply its beef products to Ulaanbaatar and cooperate in other possible, said the Japanese delegation.
