Mongolia to host 6th National Sustainability Forum. National Development Agency of Mongolia, GIZ Integrated Mineral Resource Initiative and the Council for Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility will host the 6th National Sustainability Forum in Ulaanbaatar. The National Sustainability Forum is a yearly event which focuses on relevant and contemporary topics in the area of sustainability, corporate governance, and social responsibility. This year, international and Mongolian experts will share their insights and expertise on three of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals. These three goals are the promotion of sustainable economic growth and full and productive employment work for all; (ii) making cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable; and (iii) promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development officially came into force in the beginning of this year. Therefore, this year's Sustainability Forum sets the stage for a focused discussion and provides participants with the opportunity to share experiences with peers, business leaders, government representatives, and civil society organizations focusing on sustainability in Mongolia.
