Turkic woman burial is found in Mongolia. More than 40 findings and artifacts have been found in western Khovd province including an ancient human wrapped in felt. In the mummy's grave archeologists found, alongside the human remains, a saddle, bridle, clay vase, wooden and iron bowl, trough, iron kettle, the remains of entire horse and sheep, as well as a traditional costume named the deel. According to the Beta Laboratory in the U.S the findings have approved to date to the 9-10th centuries, the period of Turkic empire fall and rise of Kyrgyzstan. As experts of the Cultural Heritage Center, where the findings are preserved, the Turkic woman was from elite, because her clothes and things in the tomb were elegant, substantial and high-quality. Even her shoes were equipped with iron and bronze. Inside of the woman’s coat was fur and the outside was leather. The finds will be showed to the public by the middle of the next year at the National History Museum of Ulaanbaatar.
