Mongolia is to have continued support from Asian Development Bank.
Mongolia is to have continued support from Asian Development Bank. Five new projects are now being prepared for implementation in Mongolia, said Executive Director of Asian Development Bank (ADB) Koichi Hasegawa at his meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh. Mr. Koichi told that since 1990, the ADB in partnership with Japan has worked together to implement 33 projects to reduce poverty and to promote innovation and technology. Mr. Deputy Prime Minister noted that ADB assistance has helped implement projects in education, health, community, finance, infrastructure, and urban planning, in the form of credit, non-refundable aid, and technical support. Mr. Deputy Prime Minister mentioned the most recent example of ADB’s support, the provision of 150 million USD for overcoming economic challenges and addressing the state’s budget deficit.
