Mongolian-Russian ministries of Justice and Internal Affairs are to work closer. Mongolian Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs met with Russian Ambassador to Mongolia. The Mongolian Ministry of Justice and International Affairs intends to cooperate closer with the Russian ministry, Mongolian minister noted at the 4th Conference of intellectual property authorities of Mongolia, Russia and China, which was held in Ulaanbaatar. The Minister added that Mongolian government will focus attention on raising the bilateral cooperation to a higher level ahead of an upcoming visit of the State Secretary of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs to Mongolia. Mr. Minister also talked about cooperation in ensuring safety of Mongolians travelling to Russia, especially to Ulan-Ude and Irkutsk cities and about the requirement for tackling the real estate matters which have been debated for a long time. In turn, the Russian Ambassador talked about further expanding training for officials and staff of the Mongolian Ministry in Russia. In view of the increasing number of tourists to both sides, the Ambassador agreed with the requirement for enhancing safety for Mongolian and Russian travelers. The Ambassador said Russia intends to boost fruitful cooperation with Mongolia in increasing the capacity of border checkpoints and facilitating services at borders, and added that Russia is prepared to foster the cooperation in law enforcement. The sides also shared views on ongoing works being done within the celebration of the 95th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations.
