Some 70 Mongolian artists have worked on Marco Polo Season 2. Forty of them were on shooting set. Three Mongolian actors have played roles, and others worked as stunts, extras, singer, dancer, translator, drummer, and musician said the producer and Mongolian actor Orgil. Orgil, who played Genghis Khan in a BBC documentary, said it was more accurate than any previous foreign portrayal of Mongolian culture. Marco Polo is an American drama series inspired by Marco Polo's early years in the court of Kublai Khan, the Khan of the Mongol Empire and the founder of the Yuan dynasty (1271–1368), in Khanbaliq or modern Beijing. All 10 episodes of Marco Polo Season 2 will launch globally on July 1, exclusively on Netflix.
