Mini-cinema opens at National History Museum. Funded by the Ministry of Education Culture and Science, the mini cinema is the first of its kind in any museum in Mongolia. The mini cinema is believed to increase the number of visitors which stands at 85,000 a year. The mini cinema will screen rare historical documentary films from the museum’s archive which maintains some 56 thousand exhibits including about a dozen rare historical films. The museum will soon show a documentary film about the 1990 democratic revolution which was never screened before. We’re going to play a song called “Song of the Bell” which is a kind of a hymn of the 1990 democratic revolution.
