Mongolia and Japan sign cooperation document. The parties signed two documents during the official visit of the Speaker of Mongolian Parliament. A memorandum on cooperation in the labor sector was established between the Mongolian Ministry of Labor and the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. It will enable both countries to reach a certain agreement on sending labor force to Japan, and involving Mongolians in vocational training in Japan. Under the cooperation document, Mongolian youths will be involved in Japanese language training to learn Japanese high-technologies and know-how, and will have practice in Japan in the fields of industry, infrastructure and health. The second document is a memorandum on cooperation in promoting clean coal technologies. It was established between the Mongolian Ministry of Mining and the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. With a purpose to support effective consumption of coal in Mongolia, the memorandum allows the two countries to share clean coal technologies, back joint researches and co-implement projects on gasifying coal and producing semi-coked briquette.
