ASEM-tag system introduced to secure safety. ASEM-Tag developed using Korea's nanomaterial technology is chosen as the official product certification measure to guarantee safety and sanitation of all foods, drinks and daily necessities for the heads of 53 countries participating in the 2016 Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) scheduled to be held in Ulaanbaatar, in July. The anti-counterfeiting nanotechnology tag will be used to verify all foods, drinks and daily necessities provided by over 150 companies, as fake products are increasingly threatening health and security globally, said the ASEM organizing committee. The ASEM-Tag system combines a nanotechnology that detects forged products by changing color based on a magnetic reaction to information and communication technology, said the Seoul-based startup Nanobrick Company which provides anti-counterfeiting nanotechnology for the forthcoming ASEM11 in Ulaanbaatar.
