Consumers’ rights protection is to be strengthened.

Consumers’ rights protection is to be strengthened. A national program on protecting consumers’ rights will be implemented with the main focus on decreasing violations of consumers’ rights due to a rapid growth of economic and business activities. The program aims to build a legal environment and adequate system for protecting consumers’ rights, to promote social responsibilities of national suppliers of different products, works and services and to enhance public awareness of smart consumer culture. The national program also envisages numerous actions for improving the legal environment in favor of consumers’ rights, and for ensuring protection against risks. All these actions are designed in the scope of this year of consumers’ right which is declared in conformity with the United Nations Guidelines on Consumer Protection, recommendations on responsible consumption and sustainable productions given in accordance with the sustainable development document adopted during the 70th session of the UN General Assembly in 2015.
